Welcome to a blog that I want to start to show my journey from a person who is not healthy to getting towards a nea and healthier me.

I started this journey because I felt ashamed at how far I had fallen.  When I was young I was a gymnast and I gave up after I broke my finger.

In my mid twenties I got into tae kwon do as i wanted to become more confident and get back to some of my old ways.  Unfortunately that didn't last for long as I ended up tearing my meniscus.

Now I am in my early 40s and I started my journey by deciding to join Weight Watchers.  6 weeks in and I have lost about 18 pounds.

It is a long and drawn out process and I am pleased with how well I have done so far. 

This will help with my knee issues and other pain that I have as well.  My plans is to get back into shape so that I can get healthier and work a way up to a happy and healthy me.
